I'm finally finished! I can't believe it took me more than five days just to complete this small picture!
The guy in this picture is Yabai Saito ( 夜倍最斗 ), a character from the soon-to-be-starting story I'm writing called "Oh! Joy!". I'll do a request pic for the first two people to notice the pun in his name.
I originally started the pic with his head, last Monday! I liked how it looked, so I inked it. Then it got hard from there. There were so many pose changes. Originally his back was turned, slowly undoing his jacket. Then it changed to him doing a kung-fu move. Then it was him resting his arm on another character.
Finally it changed to this simple leaning pose.
I experimented with shading whites in this picture. And as usual, I wanted it to look like a watercolour image. It took me a whole night to ink, and the whole day to colour.
Now that I think about it, the uniform looks like my school uniform...
Thank you very much. I've gotta go and check my vocab cards.
Hehe, you don't need to learn it at school. You could watch those learn-it videos or buy books. You should look up "Let's Learn Japanese" on Youtube. It's the best learning program. I grew up watching it.

Life is so boring.. Where are you Destiny?? >.<
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.
Each week, one random day, I will go through one section in the Resource Category of DeviantArt and search for new (some times old) stock images that promote Green Art or Recycling. 100 (yes 100!) deviations will be selected from now on in each Volume, in which one of the stock artists will get a short feature at the end.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
