Artist's Comments
The word "parasol" is Italian, or so it derives from Italian words.
This is a picture I drew for Julija's (*Julijaaa) birthday present, which was a CD with a few songs that we wrote, and a few secret tracks made up of an inside joke we share. The CD's title was "The Word Parasol is Italian". The CD's final product looked really professional, in my opinion. It made me want to continue making music and working on my designs.
The picture was really hard to draw. I had all these other poses I wanted to do, but this one looked the best. The dress and parasol were designed from scratch, inspired by a few dresses and parasols I saw online. It looks okay as a drawing, but it might look vomitrocious in real life.
Ever since I drew this picture, I've been hooked on drawing pictures of people under parasols. Expect to see a few more parasol related pictures.

I think it's funny that parasol refers to the SUN, while umberella refers to SHADOW...but we use them mostly for rain anyway.
