~Hooful

It looks like I'm back again. But this time I broke the eight week rule and came back at the of the seventh week. It doesn't matter anyway.

So many things have happened between the time I last went online. I've been experimenting with coloured pencils, and had a few tries trying to draw realistically (which I'm getting used to). There's this drawing I did of ~nattayyz which I turned out fine, I think. I might upload it here someday soon.

These days I find it easier to express myself through music making rather than drawing. Are we allowed to upload songs we've made onto deviantArt? I've seen a few examples... And music making is an art as well, isn't it?

School starts tomorrow, so I better make the most of today. These holidays have been quite relaxing. Because of the two week exam session before the holidays, it feels like I've had a four-week holiday. During this break, I was able to finish writing a song that I'll be using for my Multimedia Body of Work, got to spend a day with *Julijaaa and ~gloomythebear taking photos at Centennial Park, which was the most memorable thing I've done during the break, went to a mini devmeet yesterday, and sleep in almost everyday.

So that's my life until today.

Is it me, or it seems like I always come back on deviantArt after eight weeks. I looked back at my last journal, and it said that I hadn't been on in eight weeks. And that's also the case this time.

So where was I this time? Well, I kinda didn't want to go back on because I really needed to explore variety of art styles that differ to the one I had. My art teacher kept criticizing my art as whatever style I did, she kept seeing the anime/manga influences in it. Was it really that apparent? I'm still exploring. I've done a few experiments in vector, but due to it's ugliness, I will not be posting it here.

We're already on the fourth week of first term at school. It almost feels as if the holidays never existed. The holidays were so much fun. Haha, I can't believe I spent more than $700+ on eBay, buying CDs and all these games for my brother. Most of them don't work anymore...

Looking at my to do list, I see that I have to finish a lot of things such as completing the request pics for *AKuwaNeKo, ~Wynaut and of course *Julijaaa.

Ah. My first journal entry in more than eight weeks, and also my first entry since my subscription ended.

Feels good to be back. I haven't been drawing much since I went off dA. I had a gazillion assessment tasks that I had to get through. And thankfully, they're all done.

... for now.

Well, I kinda lied. I did have a gazillion assessments, but I did draw a few things here and there, like fake movie posters, birthday cards and plans for my Body of Work.

I have more than four hundred things to reply to. I'll get through most of them tomorrow. My computer's being a total bitch by not loading the message centre page. Grr...

It's been raining a lot down here. Apparently the weather people say it'll be like this until the start of January. That's fine by me -- I love the rain. Plus the heat is just too much for me.

That means that it'll be raining on my birthday, which is in eight days, on the 24th. I never really get to enjoy my birthday since it's during the holidays, and it's on Christmas Eve. My friends are usually busy getting ready for Christmas, or are out of town, there's nothing good on TV, it's like another normal day.

How inconvenient to have been born on such a date.

There are so much things I want so badly. Most of them are Utada CDs like the Sakura Drops/Letters single, and the Beautiful World/Kiss&Cry single, her album called Precious which she made when she was making music as cubic U, the Flavor of Life single, the Be My Last CD+DVD single, the Passion CD+DVD single and the UH4 DVD. How I want them all!

It's not like I'll ever get any of this stuff, but I can keep on wishing. If only the tooth fairy was real!

It's here! It finally arrived! After a few months of waiting, my Macbook finally arrived! I got it yesterday at recess. And... I got my MIDI keyboard on Wednesday. The keyboard freezes my PC for some odd reason.

I can finally use Garageband at home! In general, iLife is pretty amazing. It's a bit amateur, but it's way better than any Microsoft program. Seriously, iMovie looks better than Windows Movie Maker.

Uh-oh, I'm sounding like Dylan now.

I'm a bit annoyed since my Garageband is missing a lot of loops, and it doesn't even have strings as a software instrument. I think I should ask the people at Apple for help.

My subscription ends in twenty-one hours! I won't have a start in front of my name anymore. Bye-bye *Hooful. So people, please fill up my shoutbox!! It was so much fun having a subscription. If only everyone had one.

School started this week. The first three days were actually really cool. We had a year twelve conference where we went to different workshops throughout the day. The also gave away free tea, which was heaps scrumptious.

OH! THAT'S RIGHT! I'd like someone to catch my 1111 pageviews. And I'll try to do a request pic. So far, I need to finish three pics for other people first.

I'm off to breakfast.

Haha. These stickers are hilarious! "Emo", who is the frog-like thing was around before the sad "emo" trend was around. A friend had some game thing on his phone with Emo in it.

Yeek! I've already reached more than one-thousand pageviews!! This is bad! Really bad! I liked having pageviews in the hundreds. The number statistic up at the top of my page will look unbalanced. Oh well, life goes on.

Recently I've been addicted to a show called "Summer Heights High", a satirical Australian mockumentary. It's on Youtube, if you want to watch it. I love Mr G the most out of all the characters. His attitude reminds me so much of a drama teacher I once had. Mr G is more extreme and evil though. Oh! And his songs he wrote for the musical are hilarious!!

Episode six is on tonight.

I haven't been submitting any art. I'm in the middle of colouring a new picture at the moment. After this, I've got to finish the pictures for ~AKuwaNeKo and ~Wynaut as a gift for finding the pun in my character's name.

The holidays will end in a few days.
